Who are you? Who are you at home? At work? Around friends? What are you doing, thinking, feeling? When do you eat, sleep, read, learn, shop? Where do you want to be in your life right now? How will you get there? Answering some of these questions can be quite challenging, as well as, inspiring, eye-opening and life changing. How often do we stop and just pay attention to ourselves, our inner selves?
I've had to sit down and ask myself these questions. That was one of the most difficult things for me to do. Why, you ask? Because I had become what everyone close to me wanted me to be, and when that world crumpled I did not even know who I was. Everyday, for a very long time, I put on a mask to make other's happy. I thought that's what I was supposed to do. I was so caught up in "life" (external) I did not even realize how unhappy I was.
It took time, time to peel the layers away, time to breakdown so I could breakthrough. It was the best thing that could have happened to me and the worst, the scariest and the most fulfilling........I think you get it.
So why am I telling you all this? I believe we all have experiences that can help others and the only way to do that is to share. Life changing experiences is now a part of my everyday life. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and an Herbalist. I personally know the benefits of hypnotherapy and herbs and without them I would not be where I am today. It was so powerful for me that I knew without a doubt that I wanted to help others overcome obstacles, fears, sickness and so much more.
So follow me on my journey of healing and begin yours.
Take some time, today, tomorrow, the day after. Spend a few minutes each day with yourself and ask the questions above. Write them down, think about them, dig deep and write your answers. Be honest with yourself. You are worth it!!
You can't make change in your life without knowing who, what, when, where and how you are right now.
So what do you do after you answer all those questions? Check out the blog On Sunday May 16, 2010 to find out.
